I have made it a practice to spend moments of every day challenging my mind to tackle problems that concern my life: everything from health to hearth. I enjoy the process of problem solving because it allows me to enter a world where any solution is feasible, where there is no such word as “can’t” and where my conscious and subconscious minds run free and uncensored. This is training ground for my creative process.
Over the years I have designed furnishings for my home, art for my walls and clothing for my back. I begin with a material or product originally designed for an entirely different purpose and then I give it new life: Copper pipes become candlesticks, coffee cups convert a tray into an artwork, old windows display family photos, worn-out jeans join up with an out-dated sweater to become a skirt.
The possibilities are as vast as your imagination!
