Bobbi Vandervort is a singer/songwriter, artist and author. She grew up in Seattle, Washington in a diverse family. She and her two sisters were in their teens when her brother was born and her parents adopted an American Indian baby and took in two foster brothers from the local Muckleshoot reservation. Her parents' philosophy regarding the importance of helping others left an indelible mark on her life.

Bobbi attended the University of Washington. She pursued a career in music and studied clothing design and art on the side. She has written and recorded three albums and one television theme, and sung on hundreds of radio/television commercials and movie soundtracks. While living in San Francisco, she rehearsed with Carlos Santana's band and did impromptu vocal arranging for Van Morrison's album, “Beautiful Vision."

After moving to Los Angeles in the late '80's, Bobbi combined her love of children, creativity and art to write two books, “Great Theme Parties for Kids” and “ArtCraft” (Learning the Masters by Creating Your Own Masterpieces). In addition, Bobbi wrote a one-woman, multi-media show entitled "Heart to Heart," which combined twelve of her songs, a narrative and visuals.
